South Downs Emergency Vets specialises in critical veterinary care outside of standard hours. When your daytime vet is unavailable, our independent accredited hospitals in Storrington and Chichester are on hand to provide emergency care for pets across West Sussex at a moment’s notice.

As a sister company to AVG, South Downs Emergency Vets operates two independent hospitals located in Storrington and Chichester. As well as providing a rare, seamless continuity of care for AVG clients, our hospitals are open to everyone – whether you’re registered with AVG or elsewhere.

Both our hospitals have their own permanent, regular veterinary teams delivering a dedicated out of hours service. Our veterinary surgeons and nurses are highly committed, have advanced certified training and decades of combined experience in critical care. They’re fresh, alert and well-informed, ensuring continuity of care for your pet.
